Flueing
Each manufacturer’s appliances will have specific requirements for flues and installation that adhere to the gas codes. Flue lengths and angles dictate where appliances can be installed and these differ from model to model. The route of any flue should be as short as possible.
When flued appliances are installed no additional air is required for combustion. When specifying the location of flued appliances, particular attention should be paid to where the flue will terminate on the outside.
